A measurement book is the site record of work actually executed — each item measured as Nos × Length × Breadth × Depth/Height. It is the basis for RA bills and final billing, and the auditable source of executed quantities.

What to include
- MB header — project/work, MB number, contractor, measured-by, date, page.
- Description of item — the work being measured.
- Nos, Length, Breadth, Depth/Ht — measured dimensions.
- Quantity — = Nos × L × B × D, auto-calculated.
- Unit & sign-off — unit and measured/verified/accepted-by.
How to prepare it (step by step)
- Fill the work, MB number and measured-by.
- For each item, enter Nos and the relevant dimensions (leave a dimension blank where it doesn't apply).
- Quantity calculates automatically.
- Carry the quantities into the BOQ / RA bill.
- Get measurements verified and accepted.
